Avery Purcell is a sophomore at Dakota Ridge Senior High School. She loves to travel in the mountains and learn more about the environment. She hopes to pursue environmental sciences in college. In her free time, she writes, reads, and watches “The Office.” She joined journalism to strengthen her writing skills, and to have a better understanding of the Dakota Ridge community.
