“Art allows me to express myself through texture and color, which is freeing whenever I want to explore my feelings and perspective outside of a verbal explanation. It encourages me to look at the world differently and contribute my own creativity to see what I see. It also allows me to explore what is possible in terms of bringing my imagination out into the world and making it tangible, putting myself onto pages. with more realistic art. “It’s [photography] just one of my things that I love to do and that makes me happy… just clears my brain. Like having a camera in hand and taking photos for a few hours and getting that one good photo helps me out a lot,” Sophia Sarche (12) said.
