Emily Friesen is a first-year staff writer for The Cord News and a junior at Dakota Ridge High School. Emily enjoys informing the public through forms of writing and photography. When Emily is not in school she enjoys reading, spending time with her three cats, and going on hikes. Emily also wishes to strengthen her investigative skills through reporting.
