The​​ first annual Ms. Dakota took place Monday, March 31, 2025, in the auditorium, with the winner being DRHS senior Grace Park.

The DRHS Far Away Friends Club (FAF) held their annual pie challenge for this year’s Prom assembly.  Students were able to throw pies at their teachers for $1 per ticket. 
“An idea I had for a spirit day would be a Prom teaser, where everyone wears the color of their dress day," Hayley Pidek said.

DRHS men's basketball wins 80-38 against Thompson Valley on March 1, 2025. This was their very first playoff of the season for the basketball team. "I am confident, and I trust that we have a really good team, and we have a chance to do something special,” DRHS senior player Nick Hubert  said.

From January 9 to January 11, 2025, the Dakota Ridge All State Choir contestants perform in Denver, CO. 
 “All state choir was really stressful at first with auditions because the audition process was really rigorous, and it was so exciting to get in, and it was everything I thought it would be,” DRHS senior Kate Stanford said.  “I got to make music with the most amazing musicians that I've ever met in my life, and they were wonderful people, and it was just such a family experience,” Stanford said.
