Cairo Zúñiga is a senior editor for The Cord News, who has been part of the news staff since 2016. She is planning on studying Journalism at a community college after graduating in May. She particularly enjoys writing opinion pieces regarding the hot-button topics going on in the world. When not working on the Cord News or other schoolwork, she spends time as a hostess at her family restaurant, Carlos Miguel’s. In her free time, Cairo writes short stories and creates art based off her own original characters.
