I love indie music, and I’m always on the lookout for new artists to expand my view and hear a new sound. Almost Monday’s debut album DIVE has the perfect indie pop sound that incorporates the best of indie and pop.
Perfect for fans of Wallows, Del Water Gap, and ROLE MODEL, Almost Monday shares the indie sound that all of these artists have while still being unique.
“Almost Monday manages to blend the nostalgic surf music of the mid-20th century with modern pop touches, creating a wonderland where it’s never raining, the perfect temperature and the days seemingly have no end,” Emma Johnson with the MSU Reporter said.
Their singles such as “hailey beebs,” “broken people,” and “live forever,” gave Almost Monday a spot on radio charts and enough fuel for 30 minute slots at festivals such as Bonnaroo, Firefly, Lollapalooza and Bottle Rock in 2021.
DIVE perfectly encapsulates that beachy surfer vibe that makes the listener feel like the main character in any early 2000s coming of age film. DIVE feels like summer in a bottle and will leave almost every listener happier than they were.
