College night at Dakota Ridge was hosted on Monday, October 7, 2024. This night provided students with knowledge about financial aid for college. There were also different rooms with colleges marketing their campus and educational programs. The event was held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. “It really helps just because you can find out financial aid and ways you can go to college,” DRHS senior Emily Friesen stated.

Cross Country Regional Championship occurs on October 24, 2024. The girls varsity team took 5th in the region, and men's varsity took 7th. “Most people did their best,” DRHS girls varsity runner Jaiden Miller said. “It was illuminating.”

She strives for this dream because she knows how important news is, and she believes she can make a difference in the world. Out of school, Irelynd is a dancer and a volleyball player and enjoys hanging out with her cat Pancake.

Reese is a current senior who has a passion for journalism and broadcasting. She has an interest in sports journalism and hopes to make a difference in the future of news and media.  Outside of school, Reese loves to spend her time outdoors and make her own music.
