As a newly produced animated movie, Ralph Breaks the Internet, the sequel to the 2012 hit movie Wreck it Ralph, just broke into theaters on November 21. In this version, Wreck it Ralph and his best friend Vanellope von Schweetz venture out into the internet to find a new steering wheel on eBay for Vanellope’s video game: Sugar Rush.
The creators thank viewers for their support at the beginning of the film, and explain that they spent a long time developing this animated feature. They did a wonderful job. The representations of Twitter, pop up ads, ad blockers, viruses, eBay, the search menu and much more are adorable and accurate.
Ralph Breaks the Internet is funny with a message that is simple and sweet. After watching it for the first time, I fell in love with it, and I will most definitely be watching it again for the wonderful characters and nod to popular trends.
I recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys a laugh and just good family fun. If you enjoyed the first Wreck it Ralph and the cute friendship behind the two main characters, then you will definitely enjoy this new take on a familiar story.
