The DRHS swim team completes their state qualifiers. "My favorite part about being on the swim team is the people I meet and the community that it has created," DRHS freshman Marlo Richardson said. "My favorite part about the Dakota Ridge swim team happens to be our Thursday night dinners. I feel like it's a good place to get community and make friends," DRHS freshman Natalie Sundberg said.

"The actors, chorus, musicians, set, stage crew, and sound booth crew are outstanding. Students put in countless hours preparing and then presenting for the audience," DRHS principal Keller said in the Community Connections newsletter on March 5, 2026.

The annual Valentine's Day door winners include Ms. Johnson's sophomores (shown above), Ms. Sullivan's freshmen, Ms. Caliga's Jjuniors, and Ms. Marko's seniors. "We're so excited that we won the door. My Seminar worked hard on it, and this is our second year runnin', so, who knows, maybe we'll win next year, too."

Choir students join the winter concert in December, having their own songs to sing and festively dressed to celebrate the season. Naturally, many of the songs were holiday or winter-themed as well.

DRHS Far Away Friends club was founded by the former DRHS math teacher David Purcell.
Far Away Friends Dissolves and New Club Forms
The DRHS Journalism Club celebrates their first year participating in the annual Trick-or-Treat Street event on October 29, 2025. Various other clubs and activities lined the halls to pass out candy to community families.
Dakota Days
Homecoming Dance was the highlight of the week that many students was waiting for on Saturday, September 19, 2025. It lasted from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Students could text to request songs during the event. Many of the students removed their heels so they could properly enjoy the dance floor.
