Seven Dakota Ridge High School seniors signed with their chosen college on Wednesday, February 7th. They each received scholarships for their sport and are taking it to the next level by playing in college. This accomplishment required each student’s hard work and dedication.
“Right now it was worth it, but while I was doing it, I questioned if it was worth it,” senior Payton Tanner said.
It was a great day for all of these athletes, and they are each leaving a positive legacy, setting new goals for the future athletes of Dakota Ridge.
Carson Sauter will continue his baseball career at Northeastern Junior College. Though there were few students signing, it's still a remarkable accomplishment as it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to play at this level, not to mention all the training and long days.
