Christ in the City is a program that centers in the City of Denver incorporates multiple residential missionary opportunities, as well as day long volunteer opportunities. One of those being Lunch in the Park, where you can sign up to pack and serve lunches to anyone who comes. One volunteer Janet Hill has had some experience with the program, and comments, “I’ve volunteered once before, the year before last with my family, It was really just a beautiful experience. They did the lunch and then they even had a women’s ministry section where we did their nails and hair and what-not. You can really see the appreciation in their faces too, it’s just amazing to be a part of.”
