The start of a new school year is bound to bring about some changes, and this year is no different. DRHS has officially implemented a late start on Thursdays. This causes each class to be shorter by 15 minutes, and the day now begins at 9:05 a.m. instead of the usual 8:05 a.m.

Kaylee Walls is a junior and joined the Journalism class because of a recommendation from her 9th grade English teacher. After a few months of writing for The Cord News, she fell in love with the art of it and has been writing since.
