This Tuesday throughout the halls of Dakota Ridge, the annual Trick or Treat Street took place. Children from local neighborhoods of Littleton came dressed up as their favorite cartoons, princesses, and action heroes.

“The night went really well. I worked with FCCLA (Family, Careers and Community Leaders of America) and I worked at the cookie station,” Jordan Iannella (10) said. “It was really cute to see [the little kids], and a little bit overwhelming at points.”

There will be some little children who won’t get to go trick or treating, especially since it will be a snowy Halloween. Dakota Ridge provided a safe and fun environment for the kids, with haunted houses, fun games, and of course, candy.

All the diverse clubs at Dakota set up for the children to arrive at 5 p.m. ready for candy and fun. Most of the children came with their parents or older siblings, whether or not their family members attend or work at Dakota.

Everyone had the opportunity to earn their candy at the different activities setup all along the hall. These included games for all ages, such as spinning the “Trick-or-Treat” wheel, making cookies, coloring, and jumping on the jellyfish. Trick or Treat Street provides fun for everyone, no matter age.
