The Relay for Life event on May 4 and 5 was successful, fun, and well done. Between Dakota Ridge, Chatfield, and Conifer, the three schools raised over $63,000 for the American Cancer Society.

“Alyssa Keller raised over $2,000 on her own and received special recognition during the closing ceremony,” event sponsor Jessica Koehler said.  The DRHS Cancer Crushers team raised over four thousand dollars.  “Only the Chatfield leadership team raised more,” Koehler said.  “We were blessed with great weather, sweet students, and no injuries. Two of our guys ran/walked over 26 miles during the night and morning; I did more like 10.”
